Overview
The project aims to improve the livelihoods of tribal farmers in remote villages of Maharashtra through sustainable water conservation and solar-powered drip irrigation systems. By constructing farm ponds and installing solar irrigation systems, the initiative will enable year-round farming, improve water management, increase farmers’ income, and reduce migration to cities. Led by the Rotary Club of Thana West in partnership with Pragati Pratishthan, the project supports long-term rural development through renewable energy and sustainable agriculture.
