Rotary Club of Navi Mumbai Palm Beach donated 30 blood filters to the Ulhasnagar Thalassemia Centre. This initiative specifically addresses the treatment needs of thalassemia children who come regularly for blood transfusions. During the visit, the club team assessed the overall condition of the centre and identified areas that need improvement. District Governor Rtn. Harsh Makol also visited the centre and shared valuable suggestions for possible future support. The project not only reflects Rotary’s commitment to Disease Prevention and Treatment but also achieves the District’s thrust area of Thalassemia. By meeting critical healthcare and basic needs, Rotary continues to bring comfort, dignity, and care to children battling thalassemia.
