Overview
On 22nd August, a creative workshop on making Ganesha idols using clay was conducted at NMMC’s ETC, Vashi for specially abled children.
The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 130 children with disabilities, who enjoyed learning the process of crafting idols with their own hands.
The workshop not only helped the children discover a new creative skill but also promoted the importance of using eco-friendly idols for the upcoming Ganesha festival.
The activity encouraged environmental awareness, creativity, and inclusion, bringing joy and confidence to all participants.
This initiative reflects Rotary’s focus on Supporting the Environment and Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities, making the festival more meaningful and sustainable.
