Overview
A special session on Disaster Handling was organized for the Interact Club of C P Goenka School, Ulwe, Navi Mumbai. The session was conducted by the staff of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and was attended by over 400 students.
Students were informed about the best practices, precautions, and the dos and don’ts during various types of disasters such as Fire, Flood, and Accidents. The NDMA team also explained how patients need to be managed during such emergencies.
To make the learning more effective, practical demonstrations were carried out. These not only helped students understand the concepts better but also kept them actively engaged throughout the session.
The program was both informative and impactful, equipping young minds with essential life-saving knowledge and preparing them to respond responsibly in times of crisis.
