Plastic waste collection conducted twice every month. This initiative has been taken to promote recycling of plastic waste while also helping spread awareness among the community about environmental hazard due to improper plastic waste disposal. The efforts are made to encourage every household to segregate plastic waste from other waste so that it can be recycled instead of ending up polluting. People are also encouraged to open plastic bags and packages carefully, to avoid creating small plastic objects like package corners and bottle caps etc are difficult to segregate and end up adding to microplastic waste.
